The run closes on its heaviest month
December 2027 ends the year with 23 working days, a count it shares with March and with no other sheet in the run. Opening on a Wednesday and closing on a Friday keeps both ends of the month inside the working week, and only 8 of the 31 days fall at a weekend.
Five rows hold the month on either week start, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each fall five times. The last date sits in week 52, which is the last number the year’s week count reaches. Because the row count does not change with the week start, the boxes come out at one depth whichever is chosen, and the closing sheet hangs level with the ones before it.
What is not on the sheet
No days are marked. The dates are the dates, and whatever a particular country or household keeps in December is left for the person holding the pen. It is the only way one sheet can be straight with every reader of it, and it is why the working-day count above is arithmetic rather than a claim about anybody’s year.
Printing it
A4 is 210 × 297 mm and Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches. The PDF is written with a page box at the size chosen, so printing at 100% gives a sheet that measures what it says; fit to page will shrink it to clear the printer’s own margins.
For anything other than paper, the PNG and the SVG hold the same drawing in different terms: the PNG as pixels at a fixed size, the SVG as lines that can be enlarged as far as the wall allows without the rules going soft.
