A Sunday opening
August 2027 Calendar
August 2027 begins on a Sunday, and the sheet is drawn to match whichever week start is chosen. It leaves as a PDF at true print size, or as PNG, SVG, XLSX, DOCX or ICS.

Flush on one grid, spilling on the other
August 2027 opens on a Sunday. On a Sunday-start grid that means no blanks in front of the month at all: the first row begins with the month’s first date and five rows carry the whole of it.
Start the week on Monday and the arrangement inverts. The first date is pushed to the far end of the opening row, a sixth row is needed to hold the end of the month, and the boxes come out shallower for the same paper. January 2027 has the same disagreement running the other way — 6 rows on a Sunday start and 5 on a Monday — so the two months are a matched pair of opposites.
Sunday, Monday and Tuesday each fall five times. Sunday’s fifth is what makes the weekend total 9 rather than an even number, leaving 22 working days across the 31.
Printing it
The PDF holds a page box at 210 × 297 mm for A4 or 8.5 × 11 inches for Letter, and it is that box, not the paper in the tray, that decides the printed size of the grid. Ask the printer for 100% rather than fit to page and the two agree.
Because the two week starts give different row counts here, it is worth settling the question before printing a set. The SVG is the safest file to keep if the sheet may be redrawn at another size later, since it scales without softening.
