How December falls
December closes the year and the fourth quarter with 31 days. It is where the leftover week numbering lands, and so it is the least settled month on the bench for numbering: 2026 runs to 53 numbered weeks and December carries the last of them, while 2027 and 2028 both stop at 52.
In 2026 the month begins on a Tuesday and ends on a Thursday, five rows either way round. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday come five times each, and 23 of its days are working days, the most of any month on that year’s sheet and level with July. Set the sheet to 2028 and the same 31 days want six rows on a Sunday start, though five still hold on a Monday start.
Because a December sheet is often drawn before the year it belongs to has arrived, the year control is the one to check first. It sits above the paper row, and the file name carries whichever year you leave it on.
Printing it
Print at 100% rather than fit to page, and A4 comes out at 210 × 297 mm, Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches. The PDF carries a real page box, so the sheet is the size the caption under the drawing says it is.
The other pulls
The ICS is the one worth reading twice. It does not carry the month you are looking at: it writes twelve markers, one for the first of each month of the year the sheet is set to, so a December sheet pulled on the 2027 setting gives you the whole of 2027. The XLSX and DOCX carry the month itself as a real table of cells rather than a picture.
