A long working month
Twenty-three working days is as many as any month in 2026 carries, and December is the only other month to reach it. Eight days fall at the weekend, the fewest of any thirty-one-day month in the year and again matched only by December.
The reason sits in where the month starts. July 2026 opens on a Wednesday and closes on a Friday, so Wednesday, Thursday and Friday are the weekdays that come round five times. The three extra days land in the middle of the week rather than on the weekend, and the sheet ends up with more written cells and fewer shaded ones than most.
Five rows hold it on either grid. The month opens the third quarter and runs from ISO week 27 to ISO week 31.
Printing it
Print at 100%, not fit-to-page. The PDF’s page box is real: A4 at 210 × 297 mm, Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches. Fit-to-page will shrink the grid to sit inside whatever margin your printer keeps, and the sheet then measures smaller than it says.
If the month is going into something rather than onto a wall, take the XLSX, which opens in Excel, or the DOCX, which opens in Word. The SVG is line work and will scale to a poster without softening.
