Two weekdays over
Only two weekdays fall five times in September 2026 — Tuesday and Wednesday — and that is the signature of a thirty-day month that opens mid-week. A thirty-one-day month in the same position gets three, as July does. The single extra day is the whole of the difference.
Five rows hold the month whichever day the week starts on, so the Sunday and Monday versions of this sheet come out at the same depth. What changes between them is which column the weekend sits in, and whether the row you read across ends on a Saturday or a Sunday.
Twenty-two working days against eight at the weekend. September closes the third quarter, its first day in ISO week 36 and its last in ISO week 40.
Printing it
Print at 100% rather than fit-to-page. The page box in the PDF is real, so A4 comes out at 210 × 297 mm and Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches.
The other forms are the same grid by other means: PNG as a flat image, SVG as line work that scales, XLSX for Excel and DOCX for Word. None of them is stored anywhere — each is written when you ask for it and handed straight over.
