How January 2026 falls
Sheet one opens on a Thursday and closes on a Saturday, thirty-one days later. Its first day sits in ISO week 1 and its last in ISO week 5, so this is the month that carries the year’s opening week numbers down the side of the grid.
Five rows hold it whichever day you start the week on. That is the quiet case, and it is worth knowing before you print: nothing spills into a sixth row, so the boxes stay as deep as the sheet can make them.
Thursday, Friday and Saturday each come round five times; the other four weekdays do not. Twenty-two working days against nine at the weekend.
Printing it
The PDF carries a real page box, so an A4 sheet comes out at 210 × 297 mm and a Letter sheet at 8.5 × 11 inches. Print at 100% rather than fit-to-page. Scaling to fit shrinks the grid by a few millimetres and hands you a margin you did not ask for.
