July and the long pair
July opens the third quarter with 31 days, and it is the first half of the only place in the year where two 31-day months run side by side. August follows at 31 as well, and September then drops to 30. Nowhere else do two long months touch.
In 2026 July begins on a Wednesday and ends on a Friday, five rows hold it either way round, and Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each come five times. Twenty-three of its days are working days that year, the most of any month on the 2026 sheet, level with December.
The 2028 sheet is a different drawing. July needs six rows there, on both week starts, so a set of months printed for that year will not have the same box height throughout. It is worth a look at the row count before a batch goes to the printer.
Printing it
Print at 100% rather than fit to page. The PDF carries a real page box, which is what makes A4 arrive at 210 × 297 mm and Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches instead of a percentage or two under.
The PNG is drawn at twice the size of the sheet on screen, which is enough for a printout of a page this size, and the SVG is the same geometry as vector paths, so it can be scaled or edited without going soft at the edges.
