An unremarkable April

April 2026 is an ordinary sheet and there is no sense in dressing it up. Thirty days, Wednesday to Thursday, five rows whichever day the week starts on, eight days at the weekend and twenty-two working days.

Only Wednesday and Thursday come round five times. Nothing about the month strains the grid: no sixth row, no leftover cell that has to be squeezed in, the same depth on the Sunday-start version as on the Monday-start one. For a sheet that is going to be written on rather than read about, that is the arrangement you want.

Eight of its days fall at the weekend, which is what a thirty-day month starting mid-week gives you. June and September come out the same way; November, opening on a Sunday, is the one thirty-day month of 2026 that reaches nine. April opens the second quarter and runs from ISO week 14 to ISO week 18.

Printing it

Print at 100% rather than fit-to-page. The PDF carries a real page box, so A4 comes out at 210 × 297 mm and Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches, and a ruler laid across the printed sheet will agree.

If you want the month somewhere other than paper, the SVG scales to any size without going soft, the PNG is fixed at the size it was drawn, and the XLSX opens in Excel with a cell to a day.
