A month with the weekends thinned out
Thirty-one days, of which 8 fall at the weekend. That leaves 23 weekdays on the sheet, and every one of them has a box to itself at the same size as the rest — the grid does not shrink the days nobody works.
March 2028 runs from a Wednesday to a Friday, so both ends of the month sit inside the working week. Wednesday, Thursday and Friday each come round five times, which puts the weight of the month in its middle columns rather than at the edges.
Five rows hold it on a Sunday-start grid and five on a Monday-start one. Thirty-one days in five rows is a tight fit, and it shows in how little blank space is left at the top and the bottom of the sheet.
It is the third sheet of the first quarter and the last of the three, running from ISO week 9 to week 13.
Printing it
Send the file at 100% rather than fit to page. Fit to page is a scaling instruction: the printer shrinks the sheet until it clears its own unprintable margin, and a 31-day month in five rows has no slack to give. At 100% the page box in the PDF does the work, and A4 arrives at 210 × 297 mm. If a sheet comes back smaller than it should be, the scaling setting is almost always the reason.
