Thirty-one days in five rows
August 2028 fits 31 days into five rows, on a Sunday-start grid and on a Monday-start one alike. Nothing spills into a sixth row, and the two versions differ only in which column the month starts from.
Both ends of the month sit inside the working week: it opens on a Tuesday and closes on a Thursday. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each come round five times, and with 8 days at the weekend there are 23 weekdays on the sheet.
That makes for a dense month to look at. Five rows and 23 weekdays means the grid is nearly full of days you might have to write on, with the blank space pushed out to the two corners where the month has not started or has already finished.
It is the second sheet of the third quarter, running from ISO week 31 to week 35.
Printing it
Print at 100%, not fit to page. The PDF has a real page box in it — A4 at 210 × 297 mm, Letter at 8.5 × 11 inches — and at true size the printed grid measures what the file says. Five rows over the page height leave the boxes reasonably deep, so there is something here worth protecting. If a sheet comes out small, the scaling menu is the first place to look.
