The only month that changes length
Every other month in the run has a fixed length. February does not. The sheet gives it 28 days in 2026, 28 again in 2027 and 29 in 2028, so the year control matters more here than anywhere else on the bench: this is not the same drawing with a different number in the corner.
Twenty-eight days is four weeks exactly, so a February that also opens on the first day of the week fills four rows and stops. That happens in 2026 on a Sunday start and in 2027 on a Monday start. Nothing else in the three years the sheet offers can be drawn in four rows, and February never asks for six.
The same arithmetic shows in the weekday counts. In 2026 and 2027 no weekday falls five times: each of the seven comes round four times and no more. In 2028 the extra day breaks that, and Tuesday comes round five times. February 2026 also carries 20 working days, fewer than any other month on that year’s sheet, and begins on a Sunday and ends on a Saturday.
Printing it
A4 is 210 × 297 mm and Letter is 8.5 × 11 inches; they are close but not the same, and a sheet drawn for one and printed on the other loses a few millimetres at an edge. Choose the paper on the bench rather than leaving it to the printer, and print at 100% rather than fit to page.
The file name records the year you chose, so a February sheet pulled from the 2028 setting arrives as february-2028-calendar and cannot be mistaken later for one of the 28-day years.
